Spontaneous Combustion’ is an 8” x 10”, 108-page perfect-bound publication featuring 35mm film photos of cool cars shot by Reekie. It’s not like anything else. There are several accompanying essays, because photo books are too boring otherwise. The writings contained in ‘Spontaneous Combustion’ draw inspiration from Craig Stecyk’s Dogtown stories, Joseph Mitchell’s ‘Up in the Old Hotel’ and Steppenwolf’s ‘Born To Be Wild’. It’s really not like anything else.
