This is the story of Tarf II, a car which set world land speed records in the two-litre class, piloted by the legendary Piero Taruffi in the 1950’s.

The car has been on exhibition for many years at the York Motor Museum and the Freemantle Motor Museum in Australia.

Using Ferrari power it was recommissioned to be used at exhibition events, and is kept in driving condition should one ever wish to break a landspeed record again.
